Like minds really do think alike.
In March 2008, a core group of business-to-business professionals came together to explore the formation of a BMA (Business Marketing Association) chapter in Minnesota. This group quickly identified a variety of unmet needs for business-to-business marketers in the region. They established the “formation committee” to reach out to their network of friends, colleagues and clients to recruit like-minded individuals to help create a BMA chapter in Minnesota.
On July 17, 2008, the inaugural meeting of BMA-Minnesota was a huge success! More than 50 marketing professionals came together to learn about BMA, hear perspectives from local and regional BMA members on the value and impact BMA has had on their lives and careers and share their individual needs and wants from a professional organization.
Today, BMA-Minnesota is focused on meeting the unique needs of B2B professionals in Minnesota. Lead by a Board of Directors that live and breathe business-to-business marketing, BMA is the only organization in the state dedicated exclusively to serving the needs of B2B executives, marketers and communicators.
As the chapter grows, BMA-Minnesota will continue to be singularly focused on developing programs and events around the dynamic and complex needs of B2B marketers today. We will go way beyond the typical “networking format” of other organizations to provide our members with direct access to executives and managers from a broad base of both local companies and agency professionals.
BMA professional development programs and events are specifically designed and structured to further equip B2B marketers to positively impact critical business metrics such as demand generation, market penetration, client base, top and bottom line revenue, enhanced industry awareness and company image.
