A Troika is a small networking group composed of three B2B marketers (BMA-Minnesota members or guests) who are interested in staying abreast of marketing trends and expanding relationships within the Twin Cities B2B marketing community.
The makeup of the Troika groups will change from month to month, providing BMA-Minnesota members with the opportunity to continually expand their network. These small group settings create an environment to develop new relationships and foster the exchange of ideas and solutions.
Commitments
In the small group setting, Troika participants talk about current roles and responsibilities, learn about the other participants' businesses, discuss current challenges, and brainstorm solutions, ideas and best practices with the group. The monthly Troika meetings last between 60 and 90 minutes, depending on the dialogue and time commitments of the participants.
Prior to the Troika meeting, members are encouraged to visit group member's company web sites, view participant's LinkedIn profiles and identify synergies between businesses.
Discussion
There is no set agenda or predetermined topic. The discussion is guided by what is on the minds of the members of the Troika group and can range from thoughts on the recent BMA-Minnesota program. Members can "opt-out" of participating in the monthly Troika meetings.
Logistics
Within one week of BMA-Minnesota monthly meetings, members and guests will receive an email informing them of their three person Troika for that month. The goal is to get together before the next BMA-Minnesota meeting.
Members of the Troika determine the date, time, and location for their Troika meeting based on their individual schedules. Meetings are facilitated outside the monthly BMA-Minnesota programming.
